Every month I share an update about what I'm writing in my Monthly Writing Update!

My goal for May: Write as many words as I can
Did I meet my goal?
Nope. Honestly, May wasn't the greatest month for writing for me. After hitting my NaNoWriMo goal in April of 10,000 words, I took a step back for a few days to regroup. My husband and I went to Kentucky to visit family from May 6th to 9th (which was fun), then when we returned we had to take care of taxes (which was a nightmare).
Instead of continuing with My Roommate's Ex, I decided to switch gears and work on the bonus scenes for The Risqué Series. While I wasn't productive with new words, I was at least working on something. I managed to get two of the three bonus scenes written, so that was the extent of my writing for May.
June Goals
The main goal for June will be to finish writing and revising, then get edits on the bonus scenes. That way I will hopefully be able to publish the boxset of The Risqué Series in July. I would also like to get back to writing My Roommate's Ex, too, but I don't have any specific goals for that. If I can get a chapter or two written, that would be great. Also, since it's been a while since I've written anything, I need to reconfigure the timeline of events and make sure everything is right. That shouldn't take too long, though.
Love you all lots! Take care, everybody!
